GINGERBREAD HOUSES

Gingerbread houses were all a success. Kids enjoyed working on their houses at home with their parents' help and were able to create and type their math problems using Google docs. 

Congratulations to all of you... I'm very proud of you!

Soñé que había

un jardín

en cada casa

 en las ventanas

de las oficinas

crecían jitomates

 la gente

se saludaba

con flores

Gingerbread House Project

This project has been extended to Monday, Dec. 17th  so students have enough time to finish both, the house and the math work. But if your child has the house ready before  then, he/she can bring it to school by this Friday, Dec. 14th to attach the math work and put it in the library for display.

El proyecto ha sido extendido para el Lunes 17 de Dic. asi los estudiantes tendrán más tiempo para terminar ambos, la casa y el trabajo de matemáticas. Pero si su hijo (a) tiene la casa lista antes esa fecha, el/ella puede traerla a la escuela para el Viernes 14 de Dic.para agregarle el trabajo de matemáticas y ponerla en la biblioteca para demostración.

Math Gingerbread house rubric

Math Gingerbread house
The house needs to have math content previously taught and practiced.
This is what will be evaluated in the house:
- Measuring length.
-Perimeter.
-Array
- Time.
-Temperature.
-multiplication.
- Subtraction.
- Addition
The project will be also graded on creativity and neat work.
All the math work will be done during class time and all the craft and work can be done at home. This project is due to Mrs. Alvarado by December 12th and 13th .

Se acercan los examenes de Distrito de nuevo! Es importante que practiquen en la casa. En nuestro blog de lectura y escritura colocare: poemas para analizar, escritos para revisar y corregir.
